Cialis Can Mend Your Love Life

by karenwarde @ 29 Dec. 2006 - 10:42:08 am

Erectile dysfunction (ED) or impotence generally refers to the condition where men are unable to get adequate erection for satisfactory sexual intercourse. When ED proves to be a pattern or a persistent problem, it can interfere with a man's self-image as well as his and his partner's sexual life.

As men ages, they feel that the obdurate organ is less intense, need more stimulation to get erect, orgasm is not so satisfying than before and ejaculate less, and when these problem persists for a long period, men gets depressed, frustrated, lose their self-esteem and undoubtedly, it ruins the sexual life of their partner. But ED can occur at any age and it is not just a process of aging. It is a medical condition which is treatable and need to be treated on time. Erectile dysfunction may also be a sign of a physical or emotional problem that requires treatment.

In around 95% of the ED cases, a suitable treatment can be found. Men can now opt for oral anti-ED drug as an easiest option. Cialis or tadalafil is one of the successful drugs evolved for the treatment of ED. Cialis is a class of drug called phosphodiesterase inhibitors. It functions by enhancing the effects of nitric oxide, a chemical that relaxes smooth muscles in your penis during sexual stimulation, and allows increased blood flow into the penis thus making it erect.

You are able to get the maximum effect of a single dosage of Cialis up to 24 to 36 hours, several times longer than other anti-ED drugs such as, Viagra and Levitra.

While using Cialis, you may get headache, indigestion, back pain, muscle aches, flushing, and nasal congestion. In rare instances, Cialis can also result a sudden decrease or loss of vision. It is possible that a prolonged and possibly painful erection may occur after taking Cialis. If you have such an erection, which lasts continuously for more than 4 hours, you should contact a doctor immediately.

Cialis is not advisable to men who have suffered a heart attack within the last six months, people with low blood pressure, high blood pressure, severe liver disease, and retinitis pigmentosa.

Artificial stomach created

by karenwarde @ 13 Nov. 2006 - 11:55:52 am

stomach

An artificial stomach that can be fed real food and simulates human digestion has been created by a team at the Institute of Food Research in England.

The scientists say the device, made from special plastics and metals, will help them better understand digestion and may prove valuable in the development of healthier foods, BBC News reported.

This model mimics both the physical and chemical reactions that take place during digestion. Previous attempts to create artificial stomachs focused solely on the chemistry of digestion, said chief designer Dr Martin Wickham.

This new device is even able to imitate the stomach contractions that help break up food and move it along the alimentary canal, BBC News reported.

Pain relievers may block erections

by karenwarde @ 03 Oct. 2006 - 12:05:03 pm

Here's yet another reason for men to use pain relievers cautiously: The largest class of those drugs may cause erectile dysfunction.

Finnish researchers surveyed some 1,100 men ages 50 to 70 about their use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), which include most over-the-counter pain relievers, such as aspirin, ibuprofen (generic, Advil, Motrin IB), and naproxen (generic, Aleve). They also asked how often the men experienced erectile dysfunction, the inability to achieve or maintain an erection.

The men who were taking NSAIDs were nearly twice as likely to have erectile dysfunction as the nonusers. (That figure was statistically adjusted to account for various medical conditions that could distort the results.)

The researchers theorize that NSAIDs may diminish the body's release of nitric oxide, a chemical needed to achieve erections. Erectile-dysfunction drugs such as sildenafil (Viagra), tadalafil (Cialis), and vardenafil (Levitra) work by stimulating nitric-oxide release.

In addition to that side effect, prolonged use of NSAIDs increases certain serious risks: high blood pressure, heart attack, stomach bleeding, and kidney and liver damage. So an alternative drug, acetaminophen (generic, Panadol, Tylenol), is generally the best first choice for mild-to-moderate pain, though it too may harm the liver.

Men who experience erectile problems should consult their physician to rule out an underlying disorder that could be causing the problem, such as cardiovascular disease. If they're taking an NSAID and have no such disorder, they should consider switching to acetaminophen--or asking their physician to prescribe an erection-boosting medication.

Cialis - A Revolutionary Treatment

by karenwarde @ 22 Sep. 2006 - 10:27:42 am

cialis

Understanding and dealing with the psychology of impotence is undoubtedly quiet a tough job. But there is no doubt that Cialis; the anti-impotence pill that completely reformed the treatment of impotence has had a deep effect on men who have erectile dysfunction. And simply finding a "quick fix" for impotence doesn't overcome other problems that may have been there before treatment began. Often overcoming impotence gives men impractical hope about their ability to instantly cure their emotional problems as well as their physical ones.

Unfortunately it seems that for a large number of men, their ability to get an erection and have sex is viewed as an integral part of their masculinity and potency. Therefore, it's no wonder that the onset of impotence, even when triggered by an underlying physical condition, can produce psychosomatic problems that further impact on the impotence. Many times, the fear of not being able to perform adequately, dissatisfaction with penis size and self-consciousness about body appearance can all lead to the very thing that most men wish to avoid - failure to get an erection. Although, today one can buy cheap Cialis from any virtual or online chemist shop and with the worldwide explosion of technology more and more options of purchasing this wonder drug are being invented everyday.

Therefore when anxiety is mixed up with the knowledge there may have been an occasional episode of impotence in the past, or when erectile dysfunction has been in existence for a period of time, this anxiety is multiplied. It is a common viewpoint that anxiety can effectively prevent a man from becoming aroused and getting and maintaining an erection.

It is quite possible that taking a pill may temporarily overcome the impotence, but relieving the self-doubt and mental stress, which may have been brooding for any number of years, is harder to alleviate. The capacity to recover quality of life by restoring sexual function is viewed by some men as a near miracle and by others with fear and trepidation.

Thus, the psychology of impotence is more or less about viewing your new life - with sexual function - as a new beginning, complete with all the new emotions that may be experienced and there is no use to retrieve ‘life’ the way the way it was prior to impotence, regardless of whether that was only months ago or many years ago. No body can stop the march of time as it moves on, and trying to live out life the way it used to be is a sure-fire bet for failure.

BIKERS are more likely to have problems in bed

by karenwarde @ 11 Sep. 2006 - 12:24:34 pm

Studies have already claimed cyclists face an increased risk of impotence and now a Japanese team say motorbike riders, of whom there are 3.5million, mainly men, in Britain are likely to share the problem.

They say it is because pressure and vibration from the saddle reduces the blood supply to their genitals.

The older the biker, the worse the problem was. More than nine out of 10 over-50s had signs of impotence.

Choose the best one for you

cialis

Your sex life decides your zeal of living and if you are ignoring your sexual desires and problems then very soon you will also loose interest in living also. If you are facing problems in your sex life and you believe that everything will go smoothly after some time then you are not only ignoring minor problems but also inviting more complicated problems like sexual disability. In medical terms this ability is called erectile dysfunction or impotency.

According to experts, around 75 per cent of cases of erectile dysfunction have physical causes and is associated with conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, as well as heavy smoking. Drugs for high blood pressure and antidepressants can also cause impotence. Remaining 25 percent can be psychological that includes mood, desire and environment and stress that can reflect in getting erection.

Cialis is approved for the treatment of men who experience difficulty having and maintaining an erection (impotence). Cialis works by enhancing the effects of one of the chemicals the body normally releases into the penis during sexual currently approved products for erectile dysfunction? It is different from other currently approved products for ED in that it stays in the body longer. However, there were no studies that directly compared the clinical efficacy and safety of Cialis to other products but millions of people are recommending it as the best treatment for impotency.

A woman's sex drive drops in a secure relationship

by karenwarde @ 21 Aug. 2006 - 12:18:13 pm

A woman's sex drive starts to drop once she is in a secure relationship, according to researchers from Hamburg-Eppendorf University in Germany.

A study found that four years into a relationship, less than half of 30-year-old women wanted regular sexual intercourse but conversely, the research team found a man's libido stayed the same no matter how long he had been in a relationship.

In the journal Human Nature, the scientists suggested that the differences came about because of how human beings had evolved.

The researchers interviewed 530 men and women about their relationships and discovered 60% of 30-year-old women wanted sex "often" at the start of a relationship, but within four years this figure dropped to under 50%, and after 20 years it had fallen to about 20%.

But they found the proportion of men who wanted regular sex remained at between 60-80%.

The study also showed that tenderness was important for women and about 90% of women wanted this, regardless of how long they had been in a relationship. However, only 25% of men who had been in a relationship for 10 years said they were still looking for tenderness from their partner.

Body Language

by karenwarde @ 11 Aug. 2006 - 12:46:17 pm

Experts say nonverbal communication may actually have more sway than spoken words. Studies have found that body language makes up 55 percent of the force of any given response, "paralanguage," which includes sighs, pauses and intonation, accounts for 38 percent, and verbal communication provides a mere 7 percent of the response's emphasis.

Positive Body Language• Strong, firm handshake: Confidence, security
• Leaning forward, eye contact, hand gestures: Sincerity, confidence, interest
• Natural tone, volume, pitch and pace of voice: Secure, confidence
• Eye contact: Openness and honesty
• Altering facial expressions to match what is said (smiling when being friendly, etc.): Secure self-esteem
• Feet on desk, hands behind head: Confident, dominant or superior
• Relaxed upright posture, arms swinging naturally while walking: Confident
• Nodding: Approval

Negative Body Language
• Leaning back and looking down: Lack of confidence, aloof
• Limp, weak handshake: Nervousness
• Leaning in too close: Could be threatening
• Weak, soft voice: Nervousness
• Clearing throat, saying "um, uh," using overly complex sentences: Insecurity, nervousness
• Dropping head and looking down: Untrustworthy
• Staring at other person during silences: Increases tension
• Maintaining eye contact too long (over 7-10 seconds): May cause anxiety or discomfort
• Rigid, stooped posture, feet shuffling: Lack of confidence
• Folded arms, crossed legs, picking lint off clothing: Disinterested, disagreement
• Twiddling thumbs, drumming fingers: Not paying attention, anxiety
• Clenching or wringing hands, playing with jewelry, sitting on edge of chair, jiggling foot: Stress, nervousness, anxiety

Women think about sex more than men!

by karenwarde @ 25 Jul. 2006 - 09:47:11 am

If you thought that men were the only creatures with sex on their minds everyday, well then it’s time to think again, for a new survey has found that women spend 30 minutes more than them every day thinking about it too.

The survey, of 4,000 Brits by internet giant lastminute.com, found that while men think about sex 150 minutes in every 24 hours, women on the other hand, spend 180 minutes per day thinking about getting hot and heavy.

Seven Common Signs of Lying

by karenwarde @ 18 Jul. 2006 - 12:37:41 pm

lie_detector

You don't need a lie detector test to find out if someone's lying to you --just check out these seven signs of lying.

1. No eye contact - Generally, if someone is lying they will not look you in the eye, at least during a certain part of the conversation. Normally, people make eye contact for at least half of a conversation, so anything less than this could be suspicious. One caveat: there are some people who will take great pains to make eye contact with you even if they're lying, simply to make you think they're not.

2. Change in voice - A change in the pitch of a person's tone, or a lot of stammering (umm, ah), or throat clearing could indicate a lie.

3. Unusual body language - If a person taps their foot a lot, fidgets with their hands, raises their shoulders, turns away from you or brings their hand to their face (to touch their chin or nose, etc.) -- in other words, if they act nervous or uncomfortable -- it could mean they're telling a lie. Also watch out for blushing (or becoming pale) and increased blinking.

4. Something sounds fishy - Making statements that contradict each other, are inconsistent or don't sound quite right are usually part of a lie.

5. Overly defensive - Sometimes when a person is lying they will become extremely defensive, refusing to answer any questions and even accusing you of lying. This may mean they have something to hide.

6. Changes subject easily - If someone is lying and you change the subject, chances are high that they'll go right along with it. A person telling the truth, however, will likely ask why you changed the subject and want to go back to it.

7. Humor or sarcasm - A guilty person will often try to change the subject using humor or sarcasm.

Smoking raises impotency risk !!!

by karenwarde @ 11 Jul. 2006 - 11:56:08 am

Smoking raises Impotency risk

Many of the same things that are good for a man's heart may also be good for his sex life, new research confirms. Maintaining a healthy weight, not smoking and getting regular exercise may all reduce the risk of developing erectile dysfunction (ED), according to a study that followed more than 22,000 US men for 14 years.

Anything that impairs blood vessel function and blood flow could affect erectile function, and it's known that certain medical conditions that raise the risk of heart disease -- like high blood pressure and diabetes - can also lead to ED.

Similarly, the lifestyle choices that affect cardiovascular health, like smoking and exercise habits, influence ED risk.

4 Reasons Why Men Sleep after Sex

by karenwarde @ 04 Jul. 2006 - 12:31:06 pm

One or more of the following reasons usually account for why a man sleeps after Sex:

• They are tired to begin with, and sex helps them relax and let go -- figuratively and literally.

• The hormones men and women produce at orgasm can lead to the desire to lay back in the afterglow, and that sense of physical peace often leads to sleep.

• The ejaculatory release for men, and the inherent letting down of bodily tension, makes men physically tired.

• Most people (again, men and women) hold their breath during sex, breathe shallowly or don't focus on breathing. I'll bet the ranch that he's not breathing deeply. That gives him oxygen deprivation, which causes sleepiness. And, it could (rare, though) persist into the next day.

8. Request a special song for him or her on the radio.

9. Plan an evening out for just the two of you.

10. Change the toilet paper roll when it's empty.

11. If your Saturday nights have been involving sweat suits and pizza for too long, surprise him or her by taking the time to get dressed up.

20. Turn off the TV for a night and ask your partner about his or her day/dreams/concerns.

21. Write a list of what you love about your partner and tape it to the bathroom mirror before you leave for work.

23. Stop at the video store on your way home one night and surprise your loved one with a movie that he or she has been wanting to see (even if you'd really rather not).

24. Clear the clutter out of your bedroom, garage, basement or kitchen counter -- without expecting anything in return.

25. Do something out of the ordinary. This can be something simple, like getting home early from work to have dinner together or getting up early with your mate (even when you don't have to), but it can a have big effect on your relationship.

Men think in more sexual terms than women

by karenwarde @ 20 Jun. 2006 - 12:27:28 pm

In the latest issue of Psychology of Women Quarterly, researchers find that men rate themselves and the women they just interacted with higher on sexual traits, such as flirtatiousness, than women rate men.

The researchers find that after a five-minute conversation with a stranger of the opposite gender, men were more likely to interpret ambiguous or friendly behavior as indicating sexual interest. "The findings suggest that men generally think in more sexual terms than women," a researcher explain.

Within their brief conversation, partners introduced themselves and talked about college experiences. There was no significant difference in how men, compared to women, rated their conversation partners on agreeableness or extroversion. Nor was their evidence of sexual chemistry, as partners did not share a tendency to find each other attractive or desire a future interaction.

If women found their male partner as more partner physically attractive and saw him as more agreeable, they rated the partner higher on sexual traits. Men's ratings of women were also associated with physical attractiveness but unrelated to whether he saw her as agreeable or felt the conversation was enjoyable.

A Poem: by Rabindranath Tagore

by karenwarde @ 05 Jun. 2006 - 12:21:55 pm

When I give up the helm I know that the time has come for thee to take it. What there is to do will be instantly done. Vain is this struggle.

Then take away your hands and silently put up with your defeat, my heart, and think it your good fortune to sit perfectly still where you are placed.

These my lamps are blown out at every little puff of wind, and trying to light them I forget all else again and again.

But I shall be wise this time and wait in the dark, spreading my mat on the floor; and whenever it is thy pleasure, my lord, come silently and take they seat here.

Importance of Drinking Enough Water

by karenwarde @ 24 May. 2006 - 12:58:18 pm

Lack of water is the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.

Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers.

A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen.

Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79%, and one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer.

Even MILD dehydration will slow down one's metabolism as much as 3%.

So, Drink water as much as u can......:|:|:|

About Cialis

by karenwarde @ 24 May. 2006 - 12:54:37 pm

Cialis, approved by the FDA in November 2003 for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, is the only oral ED treatment shown to improve erectile function up to 36 hours in most men. Cialis can be taken without regard to food. The absorption of Cialis is not reduced by food, including high-fat foods. Cialis is currently available in approximately 100 countries, including Australia, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, the United States and countries throughout Europe. More than 4.5 million patients worldwide have been treated with Cialis since its first introduction in February 2003.

Cialis is available by prescription only and is not for everyone. Men taking nitrates, often used for chest pain, should not take Cialis. Such a combination could cause a sudden, unsafe drop in blood pressure.

Men should discuss their medical conditions and medications, including alpha blockers for prostate problems or high blood pressure, with their doctors to ensure Cialis is right for them and that they are healthy enough for sexual activity. The most common side effects with Cialis were headache, upset stomach, delayed backache or muscle ache. Although rare, men who experience an erection for more than four hours (priapism) should seek immediate medical attention. Men should not drink alcohol in excess with Cialis and viagra. Cialis does not protect a man or his partner from sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV.

Love Letter

Dear Ms.ABC

Baby, I saw you yesterday while surfing on the local train platform and realised that you are the only site I was browsing for. For a long time, I've been lonely, trying to find a bug in my life and you can be a real debugger for me now. My life is just an uncompiled program without you that never produces an executable code and hence is useless.

You not only have a beautiful face, but all your Activex controls are attractive as well. Your smile is so delightful that it encourages me and gives me power equal to thousands of mainframes processing power.

When you looked at me last evening, I felt all my program modules running smoothly and giving expected results, which I have never experienced before.

With this letter, I just want to convey that, if we linked together, I'll provide you with all the objects and libraries necessary for a human being to live an error free life. Also don't bother about the firewall, which may be created by our parents as I've strong
hacking capabilities by which I'll ultimately break their security passwords and make them accept our marriage.

I anticipate that nobody is already logged into your database so that my connect script would fail. And it's all certain that if this happened to me, I will crash my system beyond recovery. Kindly interpret this letter properly and grant me all privileges of your

When things in your life seem almost too much to
handle, when 24 Hours in a day are not enough,
remember the mayonnaise jar . . . and the coffee.

A professor stood before his Philosophy class and had
some items in front of him.

When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very
large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill
it with golf balls.

He then asked the students if the jar was full.

They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and
poured them into the jar.

He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the
open areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full.

They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured
it into the jar.

Of course, the sand filled up everything else.

He asked once more if the jar was full.

The students responded with an unanimous "yes."

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from
under the table and poured the entire contents into
the jar, effectively filling the empty space between
the sand.

The students laughed.

"Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided,
"I want you to recognize that this jar represents your
life.

"The golf balls are the important things - your God,
family, your children, your health, your friends, and
your favorite passions - things that if everything
else was lost and only they remained, your life would
still be full.

"The pebbles are the other things that matter like
your job, your house, and your car.

"The sand is everything else--the small stuff.

"If you put the sand into the jar first," he
continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the
golf balls.

"The same goes for life.
"If you spend all your time and energy on the small
stuff, you will never have room for the things that
are important to you.

"Pay attention to the things that are critical to your
happiness.

Play with your children.

"Take time to get medical checkups.

"Take your partner out to dinner.

"Play another 18.

"There will always be time to clean the house and fix
the disposal.

"Take care of the golf balls first, the things that
really matter.

"Set your priorities.

"The rest is just sand."

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what
the coffee represented.

The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked.

"It just goes to show you that no matter how full your
life may seem, there's always room for a cup of coffee
with a friend.":)

What to tell your Doctor before you begin taking Viagra ??

by karenwarde @ 16 May. 2006 - 12:44:00 pm

Only your doctor can decide if Viagra is right for you. Viagra can cause mild temporary lowering of your blood pressure. You will need to have a thorough medical exam to diagnose your erectile dysfunction and to find out if you can safely take Viagra alone or with other medicine. Your doctor should determine if your heart is healthy enough to handle the extra strain of having sex.
Be sure to tell your doctor if you:
• have ever had any heart problems (e.g., angina, chest pain, heart failure, irregular heart beats, heart attack or narrowing of the aortic valve)
• have ever had a stroke
• have low or high blood pressure
• have a rare inherited eye disease called retinitis pigmentosa
• have ever had any kidney problems
• have ever had any liver problems
• have ever had any blood problems, including sickle cell anemia or leukemia
• are allergic to sildenafil or any of the other ingredients of VIAGRA tablets
• have a deformed penis, Peyronie's disease, or ever had an erection that lasted more than 4 hours
• have stomach ulcers or any types of bleeding problems
• are taking any other medicines

First Human to Live 1,000 Years Has Already Been Born!!!!!!

by karenwarde @ 11 May. 2006 - 08:57:27 am

An article on MSNBC.com says some scientists no longer see a limit to how long a human being can live. One scientist at a recent meeting of Oxford scientists even said the first person to live to 1,000 has already been born.

"Life expectancy is going to grow significantly, and current policies are going to be proven totally inadequate," he predicted.

Just how far and fast life expectancy will increase is open to debate, but the direction and the accelerating trend is clear.

Richard Miller of the Michigan University Medical School said tests on mice and rats - genetically very similar to humans - showed life span could be extended by 40 percent, simply by limiting calorie consumption.

Translated into humans, that would mean average life expectancy in rich countries rising from near 80 to 112 years, with many individuals living a lot longer.

Aubrey de Grey, a biomedical gerontologist from Cambridge University, goes much further. He believes the first person to
